Check
out this picture of me holding a .50 caliber sniper rifle. Dennis sent
this to Chris's First Sergeant in Afghanistan and it was passed around all over
the place. The rifle belongs to a good friend.
This video was taken when Chris snuck home from
Afghanistan and surprised me. The next day, Denny was replaying the video
upstairs. I was downstairs with Chris and started complaining about the horror
show Denny was watching with the volume turned way up. Chris said, "Mom,
that screaming was you last night."

Roberta and Tammy Moore
We call each other our "battle buddy" since we made it through Basic together. Our Basic was worrying, praying, and supporting each other (and our sons) through this experience. We continue to stay in touch.
My Evansville Friends
Top: Diane and Jo Bottom: Shanta and me. (Missing one: Charlotta) We've been gone from Evansville for 5 years now but continue to stay in touch. They've all been here. Marc and I go every summer to see them.
Hawaii Friends Reunion.
In May I got to go to Hawaii for two weeks. In addition to seeing Chris, saw my friends. Here are Georgette (she's responsible for my meeting Dennis), me, Renee, and Noreen. We all worked at the same place.
Hawaii Friends 2
Here I am with Noreen, Renee, and Lynne. What a fun group! Hadn't seen them in 9 years but we lost no time in catching up! By the way, I really did see Chris while I was there. I must have a picture of him somewhere?????
Mr. Beall with me
I worked for Mr. Beall the entire time (8 years) that I lived in Hawaii. He came over from the Big Island for a little reunion celebration. He hasn't changed - except the color of his hair!
Me with Marilyn and Bob Verner
Hadn't seen Marilyn since before I left Hawaii (1981). She and Bob have been gallivanting all over - Reno, Atlantic City, and Aruba. They're now living in Kauai.
