Pickalilly or Green Tomato Relish
GREEN TOMATO RELISH
5# green tomatoes
2# onions
2 green bell peppers
red bell pepper
Grind then mix together.
Add ½ cup pickling salt.
Put in crock pot and let sit overnight.
In morning rinse with cold water in colander.
Strain excess water.
Heat 1 qt. Cider vinegar,
Add 1# sugar until dissolved
Add 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish.
Add 2 tbsp. Mustard seed.
Add 1 tsp. Celery seed.
Add I tsp. Ground cloves.
Bring to boil.
Put in jars and seal.
Process in water bath for 20 minutes for pints and 25 for quarts.
