Chris's Leave
1 April 2005 - 26 April 2005

Chris flew into Madison on 1 April.  It was much more low key than any leave before since Mom had seen him a few weeks before.  Chris has matured a lot.  He cleans up after himself and was much more reserved in driving.  The weather was great up until the last weekend.  We rode bikes, motorcycles, worked on the 1979 Mustang, visited Mendota, Indianapolis, Clay City, and Terre Haute.  He partied with friends and his brother (at home and Rose-Hulman) and spent a lot of daylight time with Mom and Dad.  He originally was to fly back on 19 April but extended it another week because he was having so much fun.  I took fewer pictures because it seemed so natural to have him back.  Click here to see the progress on the 1979 Mustang       Click here to see pictures from Chris's Welcome Back Party.

Chris Asleep

He had his hands folded like he was praying. When the camera clicked, he jumped about 8 inches off of the bed. He wakes up fast after a year over there.

Oh yes, the obligatory goodbye picture. It was much easier knowing that he was going to Hawaii where we can talk to him on a regular basis.
